Robert H. Michel Collection: Leadership Series, Illinois Delegation Letters, 1983-94

Date Prepared : May 21, 2005

This series contains copies of letters, sometimes on the formal stationery of The Illinois Delegation and others on an individual Member's letterhead, stating positions or requesting action on behalf of the Republican and Democrats representing Illinois in the U .S. House and Senate.

The letters are organized chronologically within each year, with tabs indicating subject matter. The subjects range across all imaginable legislative and constituent service topics. In a few cases, replies to the letters and supporting material are included.

There is one folder for each year from 1983 through 1994.
